Another double at the table In bad company your closed opinions Were all abandon.

Yellow EdenA yellow dress today, Like the dandelions, In the uncut grass;
And the canaries, Which she covets unaware   We're watching, Misunderstanding their wings, And the aviary walls.
Because her hair is blond, And ribboned with love, Tender remorse hooks our affections,   Drawing us like the sun is yellow
She beams and floods this paradise garden so, Her small wilderness and sandbox kingdom, Are yellow too.

  of lips and eyes, The obsession with
  And the need for affection, Rose-blinkered for protection, Ignorance being the preferable state, Disguised as endearment

  and intoxication.
The amorous lustre, Soon evident of a dissolute hunger, Said aspirations descend perverse,   Smothered, the vain pulse beats to burst.
A rabid kiss devouring those cherry victims
  Of the better half, A touch now clawing. Sacred skin no more worth caressing. Now it's tearing.

Slight Return

Having actually managed to conjure something resembling written form for uploading on here I have done so.

I will be studying English Literature at Newcastle University as of September, and I'm unsure whether or not to try my hand at Creative Writing there. I lack so much confidence, but a small part of me aspires to rediscovering some vision and opinion, I think once I start reading again the natural inquisitiveness and responsiveness will come back - I've spent far too long obeying the Norm and now I feel muted and infantile before this preposition to write and read.

I am going on a quest to find the poets of DA, anyway. I would like some company on here
